- The Evaluation of mechanical states (plastic deformations, residual stresses...) stabilized under repeated mechanical loadings (example, rail-wheel contact...) or repeated thermomecanical loads (exemple, engine exhaust manifold). There are many
other industrial applications that are difficult to model without these new tools (eg optimization of the roller burnishing operation).
